In other poll news: the favorite Harry Potter characters poll keeps taking new turns. I originally asked the question to see how popular Snape was, and to my surprise, he immediately took over the lead.
When I last commented on the in-progress results they stood as follows:
- Harry
- Snape
- Hermione
- Lupin
- McGonagall and Sirius
- Hermione
- Harry
- Ginny and Snape
- Lupin and Neville
- Fred and George
- Fleur Delacour
- Petunia Dursley
- Vernon Dursley
- Xenophilius Lovegood
- Lucius Malfoy
- Narcissa Malfoy
- Mad Eye Moody
- Auntie Muriel
- Peter Pettigrew
- Horace Slughorn
I'm curious to see what the final results will be!
I actually really liked Mad-Eye Moody's character in Goblet of Fire -- but I'd feel a little odd saying he's a favorite since...

...he wasn't actually Mad-Eye Moody in that book, just an impersonator! I never felt like Mad-Eye got a chance to really shine after that. Just the same: you're right, he's awesome. "Constant vigilance!!!"
Celery Soda- Exactly. You put your finger on why it's difficult to vote for Mad Eye Moody. Although, he does appear as himself in Books 5 and 7... we really see "him" the most in Book 4.
